Michael Scholz BEc, CertETn, LBP

Managing Director | Licensed Civil Engineer

Michael leads the engineering, technical and project delivery functions of CIVILCO. With more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering and construction, he is responsible for engineering design, estimating, construction methodology and contract management, ensuring every project is practical, buildable and cost-effective.

As a Licensed Civil Engineer, Licensed Building Practitioner and member of Engineering New Zealand, Michael works closely with clients, consultants and project teams to develop technically sound solutions tailored to each project's unique requirements. His experience spans retaining structures, piling and foundations, earthworks, drainage, roading, subdivisions and complex civil construction projects throughout Auckland and Northland.

Known for his practical approach and attention to detail, Michael is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes while building strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.

Rose Taylor BConst(QS)

Operations Lead

Rose leads the business operations of CIVLCO, ensuring projects are professionally coordinated from the initial client enquiry through to contract execution and ongoing project support. With a Bachelor of Construction Management, she combines construction knowledge with strong organisational, communication and client relationship skills.

Rose oversees business development, tender coordination, contract administration, supplier coordination, marketing and the continual improvement of the company's business systems and processes. Working closely with clients, consultants and suppliers, she helps ensure projects progress efficiently and communication remains clear throughout every stage.

Passionate about delivering exceptional client service, Rose is committed to building long-term relationships and providing clients with a professional, responsive and seamless experience while supporting the successful delivery of every project.

Wayne Higgins

Senior Supervisor & GPS Operator

Wayne brings more than 48 years of experience in civil construction to CIVILCO. As Senior Supervisor and GPS Operator, he has delivered projects across both Tier 1 and Tier 2 civil infrastructure sectors, with expertise spanning earthworks, drainage, roading, pavements and civil structures.
